Real whitewater with the packraft

I finally got to try some whitewater with my packraft.

I needed to get some fresh sea air, after working from home. Time for a quick overnighter.

Spring packrafting in the Fiskars area

I've long looked at the area north of Fiskars with my paddling eyes. Now that I have a packraft, there are a lot more route options compared to when I looked for open canoe routes. When Caj Koskinen asked if I had any packrafting plans for the weekend, it was easy to come up with a plan.

Another packraft and overnighter

Having done a few packraft trips I came to the conclusion that the canoe I have for mainly for family use could be replaced with another packraft. Thus I ordered another packraft and put the canoe up for sale. We got to try the new packraft almost immediately when it arrived.

Spring in the archipelago

There was a short window with less wind in the middle of the week. Unfortunately I missed it and also left my phone in the car.
